Who We Are
The Farm, FAA airport id 01GE, located in Wrightsville Georgia offers the aviation enthusiast a unique aviation experience by providing a year-round “Fly To” destination complete with hunting, camping, fishing, shooting, boating and other outdoor activities on site. Facilities include camping areas, full-service RV parking, lakes, ponds, hiking & riding trails and other amenities.
01GE The Farm is an FAA registered, charted, airport with a 2500’x50’ turf runway.
We also have an official Aerobatic Box established.
The Farm is offering a limited number of permanent lots for sale for those aviators looking for a quiet get-away place, retirement location or Back Country flying HQ.
What We Do
Ever since man started flying we have strived for a place to go and a reason to fly there. The “$100 Hamburger” is the epitome of the extent we will go in order to justify flying our planes.
The truth is, there are very few places we can just get in our planes and go there for fun. It’s actually quite an exercise in logistics to plan an airplane trip. Once you decide where you want to go, you have to arrange for tie downs, transportation and lodging once you get there. Then you have to rent boats, cars, schedule activities, etc. all within the scope of your weather window and travel radius.
With over 200 acres of prime land in Johnson County Georgia, 2500’ of grass runway, an Aerobatic Box and proximity to two coastlines The Farm provides a one stop aviation destination for the flying outdoor enthusiast.
Imagine being able to grab your kids, spouse, best friend, flying buddies or just to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, hop in the plane and head out on a moments notice to your private retreat in the country where you have a place to stay, stuff to do and an idyllic setting to do it in.

Philosophy
Our goal is to provide a unique, exclusive and limited density private grass strip airport experience for the aviation enthusiast.
Our primary demographic are those pilots that enjoy Back Country flying, Big Tire aircraft, outdoorsmanship and are searching for an environment to pursue those activities from.
Our objective is to optimize the environment and experience, not to generate as much income or revenue as possible, hence the limited availability of lots for sale. We are not interested in nor striving for a high-density private airport. While we understand, appreciate and have lived in those communities in the past, The Farm is geared toward privacy, a quieter rural lifestyle and a place to go to unwind and recharge.
Our envisioned outcome is a group of like-minded flyers who exhibit common sense, a fair and cooperative mindset and perhaps an ultimate retirement location.
